The robbery of the Shadow Depository having been completed, Moya heads to a renowned physician, where the money will be used to repair both Moya and Crichton’s brain. The neuro-chip has other ideas, however, and Scorpius isn’t far away…

“Liars, Guns and Money Part III: Plan B”
With Jothee safe and Crichton taking his place, the rescue is still proceeding as planned – with the slight problem of how these mercenaries are all going to be paid. Fortunately, someone has a plan. Not-so-fortunately, it’s Stark…
As Dayna so eloquently pointed out, Made of Fail is currently having a Donation Drive Spectacular to keep ourselves going! With the costs of C2E2 planning, our funds are low, and producing Absolutely Free Content1 does in fact cost us money; our operating expenses are roughly $6.21 a month.
To cover the costs of keeping this absolutely free show (and other Made of Fail Productions content!), we have a few ways of donating.
First off, we are going to be holding a couple Awesome Auctions. We also have our advertising through Project Wonderful; the proceeds of which go directly to the show!
Finally, there’s that faithful PayPal Donation button.
Thanks for listening, and here’s to many more years of Made of Fail!
Are any Made of Fail fans planning on attending the North American Discworld Convention? Let us know! Kevin will be attending, and would love to meet any listeners there.
(He’s also looking for someone to help share hotel costs!)
E-mail made_of_fail at Yahoo.com so we can coordinate meetups and activities!
Made of Fail has been nominated in the 2010 Podcast Awards under the Cultural/Arts division! Thank you to everyone who nominated us!
Please vote to make Made of Fail the winner! Voting starts today and ends December 15th, and voting can be done daily!
From listener valkyriefire:
Okay, so besides coming across as a creepily cheerful fan upon occassion, I wanted to let you guys know I’ve been a crisis intervention/suicide prevention specialist for the last five years. I answer suicide and crisis hotlines, mostly on the graveyard shift, and I’m lucky that I have a kick-ass agency that attracts a lot of awesome volunteers and counseling/social work students to answer the crisis lines.
Here are a few go-to national crisis hotlines:
1-800-784-2433
1-800-273-8255
1-800-442-4673
They are answered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Since they are national, they will be routed to the nearest crisis center taking calls, so it might not be in your town or state. However, it is a caring, listening ear that’s readily available.
Thanks for addressing the issue of bullying and doing it well.
As we mentioned last post, our dear friend Emily has had experimental eye surgery. It was an expensive procedure, and friends from all over have donated to help her.
Unfortunately, the payment information has changed somewhat. Instead of spreading out the costs over time, the hospital is demanding the entire cost by the end of the month.
To help Emily with this, a Donation Auction was set up. Please take a look over there and bid on any items or services that appeal to you; it’s for a good cause.
That’s not all!
To further help this cause, we here at Made of Fail have set up individual auctions in Emily’s name.
Dayna is offering an autographed copy of Sunken Treasure, by Wil Wheaton.
Kevin has committed himself to beginning Straight Guy Reviews of Bad Romance Novels, with the first one chosen by the auction winner.
That’s still not all!
Made of Fail has gotten into the action, by offering up all of the following prizes:
Please check out foresthouseeyes for details on how to bid for these wonderful prizes!
